I hope you are having a good week. This is the last newsletter on New Year Resolutions/Goals. Last week’s blog was very long, so this time I have kept it short and sweet!
So far we have covered approach and strategy. You are all set now apart from these few tips designed to help you maintain momentum.
Get support!
Tell those you are sure have your best interests at heart and ask for their support and encouragement to keep you on track, surround yourself with like-minded people.
Visualization!
This is a powerful motivational tool. Use it to re-connect with and reinforce your new resolution/goal. See, hear and feel yourself as you will be when you have achieved it.
Renew your conviction!
Focus on the benefits of this resolution/goal as often as you can.
Talk to yourself!
Say to yourself that is possible and you will do it, better still, you are doing it.
Be confident!
Tell yourself that 2004 is the year you are making this happen by digging deep within yourself for more confidence.
Congratulate yourself!
Acknowledge absolutely all your achievements, however small, and reward yourself for them.
Be happy!
Feel good about what you have resolved to do! You will be more likely to do it!
Remember, if things are going wrong the problem lies either in your approach or your strategy. (If you are a new subscriber, feel free to email us for the newsletters on approach and strategy!) There is no such thing as failure, only results upon which to base your next decision. If you need to, don’t hesitate to contact us.
You are not alone!
